Stay for three weeks of respite care but only pay for 2 at Place Keon Park (Reservoir), Mercy Place Wyndham (Werribee), Mercy Place Parkville, Mercy Place Templestowe, Mercy Place East Melbourne, Mercy Place Fernhill (Sandringham), and Mercy Place Northcliffe (Edithvale). Select Mercy Health Residential Aged Care homes currently have vacancies for either short-term respite or permanent care.  To support carers in our community, we currently have a special offer for clients seeking respite*.

Mercy Health is offering 3 weeks of respite care at a total cost of $867.44. In addition, for homes that charge an Additional Services fee, we will waive this daily cost for the period of the respite.

This offer is subject to availability and is only accessible to those who receive Aged Care or DVA funding.  Any respite offer at Mercy Health is only redeemable once per financial year per person.  Any person accessing this offer must have 21 days of funded respite available. This offer is valid on respite placements and admissions until 30 June 2024.

This offer is only available at Mercy Place Keon Park, Mercy Place Wyndham, Mercy Place Parkville, Mercy Place Templestowe, Mercy Place East Melbourne, Mercy Place Fernhill, and Mercy Place Northcliffe.

To access this offer the intended resident must have an aged care assessment and a referral code for funded respite. The respective clinical advisor will need to review the comprehensive assessment (NSAF) and approve the admission.

The total cost will be charged at the current basic daily care fee (daily care fee x 21 days, less discount of 7 days = total cost for 21-day stay). This offer requires upfront payment, to be paid on the day of arrival. Mercy Health locations only accept payment via direct debit transfers. The current daily care fee is $61.96.
