With just 15 residents, our boutique home focuses on the individual. We are dedicated to helping you live well, stay active and maintain meaningful connections with your community.
You can choose from a variety of tastefully decorated room layouts and enjoy our reflection room, spacious dining room and two intimate lounge rooms complete with natural filtered light — many of our lifestyle and entertainment activities take place in these areas. You can also visit our on-site hairdresser for some well-deserved pampering.

We can provide support to your family and other primary carers who need additional assistance, or who simply need a break and time to themselves. Our home offers respite care in the form of short-term accommodation for your family members or primary carers.
Chaplains visit our home, and are available on-call for pastoral ministry and specific religious rituals. We can also arrange pastoral care from a religious representative from your own faith for your convenience.
Our home offers speech pathology services to assess, diagnose and treat communication or swallowing disorders. Our local allied health therapists can provide speech pathology services in-home as you require, or as part of a high-care plan. Our home benefits from many skilled volunteers. Whether it be driving a bus, sharing gardening skills, reading a book or newspaper to one of our residents, playing cards, or just having a chat, volunteers bring a spark into our home with infectious enthusiasm. If you would like to contribute to our home as a volunteer, please get in touch. As with everyone who works within our homes, volunteers are required to complete a police check and attend a Mercy Health induction.

Our home caters for people living with dementia or memory loss. We partner with you and your loved one to get to know their personal story so daily life and activities can be tailored to suit their specific needs and interests.
Aged Care Accommodation
Our rooms are fitted with comfortable furniture including electric height-adjustable beds and bedside tables. A 24/7 nurse call system is available in all rooms, giving you and your loved ones peace of mind. Take advantage of heating, air conditioning and built-in wardrobes with space for your personal treasures, or make your room your own by displaying your favourite items. Choose a single room with ensuite for increased privacy or share a room with a companion.
Tasty, home-style meals are always on the menu at Mercy Place Mordialloc. All your meals are cooked fresh in a dedicated on-site kitchen, and you will have a choice of delicious dishes at every mealtime. We also cater for different cultural tastes and preferences. You can choose to eat in our dining room or, if you’d prefer, you can dine in your own room.
- Breakfast includes a selection of juices, cereals, porridge, yoghurt, toast and spreads, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Once a week, we offer a full cooked breakfast with bacon, eggs, sausage, baked beans and a hash brown.
- For morning tea, choose from a selection of freshly baked items, fresh fruit, or cheese and biscuits.
- Lunch consists of two hot meal options such as roast lamb with red wine and garlic and seasonal roast vegetables; or pasta with creamy spinach sauce.
- After lunch, you have a choice of dessert options such as pavlova with passionfruit and cream, or fresh fruit.
- Afternoon tea is usually a baked item, such as scones or teacake.
- The evening meal is typically a homemade soup followed by a hot option such as quiche, or a selection of assorted sandwiches.
Our relaxed home features two intimate lounges and a dining room for your enjoyment. The lounge areas are complete with comfortable furniture and filtered natural light. Many of our lifestyle and entertainment activities happen in these areas, from movie nights to more lively word games and trivia.
Our outdoor courtyards and gardens provide spaces where you can take in the fresh bayside air and serenity of established gardens and paved walkways.
